Our servicesStarting at the very source, Gramena works to provide optimal dairy product solutions. We partner with liquid dairy producers to provide optimal valorization and efficiency for all milk components we offer.
Milk powders, produced through the spray or roller drying of liquid milk, are commonly used in bakery products, yoghurts, ice cream, chocolate, soups and sauces.
Every cheese has its own fascinating production method. It usually starts with adding certain bacterial cultures and rennet to the milk. After that the milk begins to coagulate and liquid whey is seperated from the mass. From there on the production flow is different for every type of cheese. All varieties have their own story and their own specific application whether it is just as a snack, on pizza or in ready meals. Gramena is here to advise and to offer you a wide range of cheeses.
Butter is produced from milk fat, also known as milk cream. The cream is derived from raw milk through centrifugation which separates the cream from the milk. Churning the cream results in the fat molecules clumping together and creating the stiffer texture of butter. Butter can differ from a clear white to a more yellowish colour.
Whey powder, or a derivative whey powder products, originate from the liquid residue that remains after cheese production. The different powders contain varying levels of proteins, lactose and minerals, and are commonly used in confectionery, bakery products, sports nutrition, soups and sauces.
Aside from dairy products, Gramena also supplies a number of plant-based alternatives.
